About The Event
Whether you enjoy crafts or not, you’re certain to have a great time at the event. For starters, this isn’t just a craft show. This one-day arts & crafts festival features more than 300 local and national vendors. There will also be plenty of food to go around. From corn soup to jambalaya and everything in between, you’ll find amazing Cajun cuisine that will tickle your taste buds.
Mother’s Day is right around the corner which means an arts & crafts festival is a great place to go to find goodies for those you love most. With so many vendors in attendance, you’ll be able to choose from handmade items such as jewelry, artwork, wine, bath salts, wood crafts, garden items, clothing, and much more.
Important Information
The Southdown Plantation’s Marketplace Artisan Craft Show takes place on Saturday, April 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The price of admission is $5 per person. Children 12 and under get in for free. The event takes place at Southdown Plantation Home in Houma. All proceeds benefit the non-profit Terrebonne Historical & Cultural Society and the Southdown Plantation & Museum.
Be sure to bring your kids along to the festival. You can take a selfie with the Easter Bunny at the event! The Easter Bunny will be there from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., so don’t miss it!
