The first step to making any fried rice recipe is cooking the rice. It might seem like a no-brainer, but there is a method for creating perfect rice. First, fill a pot with 3 cups of vegetable, beef, or chicken broth. Next, add a tablespoon of salt and turn the heat to high. When the water begins to boil, add 2 cups of the rice of your choice: white, brown, jasmine, or wild. Cook for 15 minutes unless otherwise specified, remove from heat, and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and then place in the refrigerator for 24 hours. The next day, remove the rice and follow the recipe instructions.

The Best Fried Rice Recipe
This tasty fried rice recipe is simple to prepare and great for meal prepping. Here are the ingredients you’ll need to yield 6 servings: 3 cups of cooked rice, 4 raw eggs, 4 carrots peeled and cubed, 1 green onion, 1 cup of frozen peas, salt, sesame oil, 2 tablespoons of ginger, 1 clove of garlic, and 4 tablespoons of Soy Sauce.
Step 1 – In a medium-sized saucepan, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and heat. Add 4 eggs beaten, 1 tablespoon of salt, and a tablespoon of water. Scramble at medium heat for approximately 5 minutes. Once finished, remove eggs from the saucepan and set aside.
Step 2 – Add 2 more tablespoons of vegetable oil to the saucepan and heat. Next, add a half cup of chopped green onions and 1 cup of carrots to the pan and cook until carrots soften, approximately 8 minutes. Add ¼ cup of ginger, and a clove of garlic, both minced, and cook down for approximately 5 minutes.
Step 3 – Remove the rice from your refrigerator and add to the saucepan with the scrambled eggs, 1 cup of frozen peas, 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Stir the mixture. Let cook for approximately 5 minutes.
Step 4 – Remove the rice mixture from the stove and add salt, pepper, and green onion.
