It’s a plane! It’s a helicopter! It’s the annual Cajun Fly-In and Car Show! This year’s event will be at the Houma-Terrebonne Airport on Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and it’s going to be full of heart-pounding fun. Stop by to watch all kinds of aircraft fly into the airport on the bayou. There’ll be military, rescue, and emergency vehicles for you to check out, plus lots of vehicles to see. If you love anything with a motor, the Cajun Fly-In is the event for you.
The Kings of the Runway
When you attend the Cajun Fly-In, you will get a front-row seat to the kings of the runway. Watch as they take off from the runway and soar in the air. You’ll be feet away from these monstrous aircraft and get to see a side of them you never have before. Then, when you’re done, you can walk around and see hot rods and other vehicles. This is seriously one of the coolest events on the bayou.
And About That Music
When you’re on a plane, what do you do? Listen to some music, right? What if you could listen to live music while watching planes fly by? Even better.
Bayou Deluxe is going to take the stage at the fly-in to make sure everyone has a good time. This acoustic duo is known for having the best harmonizing vocals on the bayou, so you will want to get a front-row seat to listen to them play. The entire family will love this band.

What’s Cookin’?
You can’t spend the day with the family without doing a little eating, but that won’t be a problem here. There’ll be a food court complete with hot dogs, hamburgers, and snowballs, plus plenty of soft drinks and candy. Just imagine how happy you’ll be chowing on a hot dog while watching the planes come in.
You sure do love aircraft, but one thing is for certain. You can’t take a plane everywhere. Sometimes you need to slide behind the wheel of a vehicle to get to where you’re going. That’s where Barker Buick GMC in Houma, Louisiana, can help. Come by and get your ground transportation so you’ll be ready to hit the streets in Louisiana.
