What is an Air Fryer?
An air fryer is a compact, cylindrical convection oven. It is small enough to be stored on your kitchen counter yet large enough to fit a full meal for your family. The air fryer replicates deep-frying through the rapid circulation of hot air in a confined area which creates more energy and thus can cook food quicker and with a crispier texture than a conventional oven.
It’s also easier than frying. Don’t let the name fool you, the air fryer is a highly versatile gadget and can be used to cook any recipe typically baked in an oven or fried. If you’re looking for creative recipes to bake in your air fryer and have a bit of a sweet tooth, try this S’more recipe!

Give Me S’more
You only thought you knew how to make S’mores. This tasty recipe is simple to prepare and great for your next adventure. Best of all, there’s no need to build a campfire when you have an air fryer. The first step to making S’mores is to preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees. Here are the ingredients you’ll need to yield 4 servings: 4 marshmallows, 4 graham crackers broken in half to make 8 squares, and 8 squares of Hershey’s brand chocolate bars.
Step 1 – Place 4 graham cracker squares at the bottom of the air fryer basket.
Step 2 – Place 2 pieces of chocolate on top of each graham cracker.
Step 3 – Place the basket in the fryer and bake for 1 minute at 390. Just long enough to melt the chocolate and then remove the basket.
Step 4 – Place a marshmallow on top of each graham cracker anchored by the melted chocolate bar.
Step 5 – Place the air fryer basket back into the fryer and cook an additional 2 minutes. Remove and check to see that the tops of the marshmallow are browned and puffy.
Step 6 – Grab a set of tongs and remove each cracker from the fryer and place to the side.
Step 7 – Top each with the second half of the graham cracker. Enjoy!
