When to Stop By
The Sandbox is at 710 Corporate Drive in Houma. You can reach a staff member during business hours by calling 504-255-4543 or by email at thesandboxvolleyball@yahoo.com. The facility is open for play and business on Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 10 p.m. On Friday, it’s open even later, from 5:30 p.m. to midnight. Moreover, on Saturday, you can come by from 3 p.m. to midnight. Special-event hours are available on Sundays.
What to Expect
You don’t have to be a pro to enjoy your time at the Sandbox. For instance, it’s open to all ages and ability levels – whether you’re a lifelong player or just starting. Tournaments will vary in duration and the number of games. Upcoming tournaments include the Out of the Darkness Tourney on Sept. 29. Additionally, you can participate in the Gulf Island Steel Sales Tournament on Oct. 27, a Saturday. Prizes go to the winning times.
