CWSA Family Day & Car Show
Come out to the CWSA Family Day & Car Show on Sunday, June 4th for a day filled with live music, prizes, both live and silent auctions, and the chance to enter a raffle! The whole event will be benefiting Children’s Water Safety awareness, and there will be free-swimming lessons available! There will also be CPR lessons available for adults. Food provided includes; white beans, burgers, jambalaya, entire lunch plates, and of course cold drinks! To learn more, click here!
If you are interested in entering your vehicle in the car show, or just want more information about the car show itself, contact Joey Vining at (985) 860 6625. Gates will be open from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and food will be served from 10:30 am – 4:00 pm. It is guaranteed to be a day filled with fun!
Festival du Bayou
Do not miss the Festival du Bayou on Saturday, June 10th! Doors open at 9:00 am and the festival will conclude at 5:00 pm. The event is being sponsored by the Cajun French Music Association, and is being held at the Evergreen Cajun Center! There will be live music by The Treater Band and The Rachel Wilson Band. Events include a cakewalk, 50/50 drawings, an auction, and more! Do not forget about the amazing food! Choose from Chick and sausage gumbo, potato salad, or a homemade dessert. Admission fees are $10/person, $18/couple, and free for children 12 and under! Come hear live music, eat great food and more!
Festigals
Ladies, take drive over to New Orleans on Thursday, June 22nd for the Festigals! Enjoy keynote speakers, professional development conferences, shopping, and endless delicious food! Festigals is a nonprofit organization committed to inspiring women and works to provide a weekend-long venue to enjoy women-focused events, while also taking the time to explore the diverse culture of New Orleans. Festigals has been loving nicknamed “The Ultimate Girlfriend Getaway,” women recharge, reconnect, and enjoy a relaxing and festive New Orleans experience.
