It’s Almost Time for the Bayou Beer Fest

Bayou Beer Fest

Bayou Beer Fest

You’ve been waiting, and now it’s almost here. The 5th Annual Bayou Beer Fest is right around the corner. It’ll take place on Saturday, Nov. 11 at the Historic Southdown Plantation in Houma, and it’s going to be a blast. It runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and you can get in for a mere $35. You can’t even buy a video game for that! Get your tickets and get ready to down some of the best beer in the state, and then wash it down with some food from Cannata’s Family Market.

Want a Beer? It’s Here

Think of a type of beer. It’s going to be at the festival. It’s true. This festival has just about every type of beer you can think of and then some more. There’ll be hundreds of craft and specialty brews on-site, and they’ll come straight from Louisiana’s best craft breweries. This is local beer at its best and most plentiful.

You won’t have a hard time trying these brews. Your $35 ticket includes 40 sample tickets along with a free glass. You’ll be able to fill that glass up 40 times. That’ll be enough to help you identify some new favorite craft brews.

Bayou Beer Fest is for the Veterans

Did you notice that the festival is on Nov. 11? That’s Veterans Day, and it is held then for a good reason. The money raised benefits the men and women who serve in the military.

There will also be some military-inspired activities at the festival. There will be a 21-gun salute, pledge of allegiance, and National Anthem. You can pay homage to the men and women in uniform and enjoy craft beer. It’s really the best of both worlds.

Brew Dat Home Brew

Do you like to brew beer? You can take part in the Who Dat Home Brew competition and see if you are among the best. The competition is part of the Louisiana Circuit, so if you’re trying to complete a circuit, this is the way to go.

The festival is going to be so much fun, and it will put you in the mood for going on adventures. You can do just that when you get a new vehicle from Barker Buick GMC in Houma, Louisiana. Your new ride will always be ready to go, whether you want to go to another beer festival or you want to hit the mountains. You won’t be constrained by limits once you get your new vehicle.
