Kids love summer. It’s a season full of possibilities, and they cannot wait to explore them all. Parents, on the other hand, don’t embrace the summer with quite the same enthusiasm. It’s hard to keep those little ones entertained when they are out of school, so it’s normal to feel stressed. Well, you can feel a little less stressed in July. Summer Fun Kids Day is coming to the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center on July 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is the largest indoor children festival in the region, and admission is only $5. This festival is sure to keep the kiddos entertained, so you can hit the end of the month without feeling the normal summertime stress.
Let’s look at what you can do at Summer Fun Kids Day.
Summer Fun Kids Day is known for its live entertainment. In the past, it’s had everything from live music to martial arts demonstrations. The entertainment is geared toward kids, and you don’t have to pay extra to see it. Stop by the stage throughout the event to see what is going on.
Summer Fun Kids Day is known for having some amazing exhibits. Last year, it had hands-on experiences with animals, exhibits on safety, and more. The exhibits usually aren’t just about having fun. They also teach people something. That’s the best way for kids to spend the summer. It’s great when they combine learning and fun.

Time to Play
It wouldn’t be a kids’ festival without a huge play area. The play zone is always decked out with everything kids need to have a good time. Last year, it went all out by including gaming consoles. Kids could play Just Dance and other games on the consoles. As you can imagine, this was a popular spot at the festival.
